We have a “one-stop shop” where you can hire all you need to run a successful course whatever your client group. From accommodation to climbing gear, canoes to waterproofs we have it all.

We are also ideally suited for Counsellors/Therapists wanting to run the more “Spiritual” /Self-Discovery Courses.

Up in the forest we have an extensive low and high level ropes course incorporating two 12m climbing towers and “Leap of Faith”. We also have a variety of “stand alone” activities and raft building equipment.

For people wanting to bring groups we can recommend and put you in touch with the most suitably qualified and site-specific trained professionals to meet the requirements of your course.

Catering can be provided to fit in with your needs and budget.

Directions • Head out of Dumfries on the Solway Coast road (A710) towards New Abbey, passing through the village of Islesteps.
• 1.65 miles after the bridge following 30mph sign in Islesteps take the turning up to the right marked Mabie Forest and Mabie House Hotel.
• Follow the road up until you get to the sign for Mabie House Hotel, bear left and follow the signs for “Marthrown of Mabie Education Centre” between a white building and a wooden one, past the bike hire shop and through the gate onto the forest track (Speed limit 15mph).
• Proceed up the track for exactly a mile where you will find us on the left.
