The Phoenix has risen from the Ashes!

Our beautiful Roundhouse is finished and back in use. We think it is more beautiful than before but then again we may be biased! (Have a look at the photos on the “Roundhouse Repair” page and see what you think!)
It has had some modifications – The most noticeable difference is that it now has a chimney with a flue system to take out the smoke. We have also designed a cover for the fire to convert it into a wood burner which makes it so much warmer. It is still possible to cook over it – in fact Mike and Steve went up there the other night and cooked Pork chops with all the trimmings!
It also has a rapid heat rise detection system to make it even safer. More

Our First Wedding

Even though we have had wedding celebrations here before this was the first time we had had an actual wedding ceremony here. We had 5 brilliant days of activities and celebrations culminating on the Sunday with a Humanist wedding in the forest next to the Roundhouse complete with Piper, Hog Roast and Ceilidh (Music provided by “The Other Band”).

If you would be interested in holding your wedding in this very special place have a look at our Weddings page or give us a call. More
