"Wow, what an amazing sight”
Only 125 metres over the hill from the bunkhouse you come upon a truly awesome sight. Nestled amongst the trees in a clearing is an authentic replica of a Celtic Roundhouse.
As part of the site there is an outdoor (but private) shower, a dry composting loo and urinal all set in beautiful wooden buildings.
If you truly want to live the Iron Age life there is an open fire in the middle of the roundhouse on which you can cook your meals or even just make a brew.
However for those who want an easier life tasty home-made meals are also available to order in advance down at the bunkhouse.
For a slightly different experience how about sleeping in a Native American style Tipi. Imagine yourself falling asleep to the sounds of the forest as the tendrils of smoke from the fire meander up through the criss-cross of the poles and out of the top.
Tipi only up Easter to October
Sleeps up to 6 people.
Book exclusive use of the entire site which includes tipi (when up) and camping space for at least 10 small tents.
This venue makes the perfect place for a private party -
